Stonegate Pub Company’s Spartan Chariot Race, which took place on Thursday 20 June, has raised an incredible £61,500 for Cancer Research UK.

Pubs had to fundraise as much money as possible to win a place on one of eight chariots involved in the race. The winning chariot was led by Luke Jones, Area Manager responsible for a number of Stonegate pubs in the South of England. Luke’s winning team consisted of 11 representatives from pubs all dressed in Spartan costumes.
