Stonegate Pub Company have won another important award in the prestigious, HR Excellence Awards 2016, adding ‘Best Learning and Development Strategy’ to their list of HR achievements.
The judges for the award summarised their thoughts by saying: “With great results, an innovative approach and a desire to keep the strategy evolving, it’s impressive.”
Stonegate was selected for it’s excellence in continuing to evolve the ‘Albert’s Theory of Progression’ programme, their most impactful concept to date, beating off stiff competition from shortlisted global players Vodafone and Pizza Hut, amongst others.
The ‘Albert’s App’ technology has revolutionised communications and engagement in the business, contributing to the growth of individuals enrolled on the programme and halving their staff turnover levels.
The HR Excellence Award is the fourth Stonegate Pub Company have achieved since their first success in 2014. Simon Longbottom, Chief Executive for the company added: “It is a credit to our Operational leaders and managers who identify and nurture talent in the business and support people in their development through our career pathway. We are determined to continue developing our people strategy.”
