The Tair Pluen in Bridgend is joining the revolution to transport bars back into being for the whole community after receiving a £207,000 investment.
The Pub will not only be decked out with 8 new TV screens, 4 new craft ales and 2 new Cask Beers but the real buzz around the launch is their new resident DJ, Lee Jukes from Bridge FM.
There will be Karaoke on Thursdays, 70 & 80’s on Fridays and the more energetic will be heading down to Tair Pluen to hit the dance floor with Jukes’ new line up of Top Charts on Saturday nights.
The New Autumnal Menu is being kept under wraps for the time being but all will be revealed at the opening night on the 19th October from 5-7pm with a “meet the brewer” from Brain’s brewery talking all things beer alongside acoustic entertainment with Jukes.
“It will be interesting to explore our customers tastes with the introduction of craft beer and additional cask ale pumps. We will definitely be testing out local breweries and will be open to any suggestions,” said general manager Rebecca Cooney.
The new craft beer being featured is the Punk IPA for the first time ever at Tair Pluen and the cask rotations will be from the local breweries Glamorgan, Ottleys, VOG and Mumbles.
Ramping up the volume with Jukes on the weekends will be even more fun with Tair Pluen’s new party bowl Tutti Fruitti, alongside an expansive gin range and premium spirits…
Sports will remain a focal point with the eight HD screens showing Sky and BT sports with everything from horseracing to boxing on offer. Fans will also be able to enjoy uninterrupted sports viewing with table service being offered during big games.
