The team at The Flute on Hardman Street celebrated their recent reopening, inviting customers and local businesses to see the changes that have been made to the Flute and to sample dishes from the delicious new menu.
Closed for three days, the refurbishment has seen The Flute revitalised with a traditional look and feel with a classic colour scheme of black and gold on the outside of the building and rich cream and warm browns inside the pub.
Whilst no structural changes have been made to the pub, the introduction of new comfy furniture in a mix of fabrics and a designated food service strengthen the team’s aim to provide a good, traditional local pub with a quality food offer in spruced up surroundings.
Peter Dawkins, Manager of The Flute said: “The customers were amazed by the refurbishment and we’ve had nothing but good feedback. We got lots of comments on how the pub looks a lot more inviting now which is fantastic to hear. Whilst the pub was in good condition previously, the refurbishment has just given it a new lease of life. The new furniture has made a real difference and we’ve introduced new television screens as well as repositioning the screens that were here previously for easier sports viewing.
Our guest were also impressed with our food –dishes on our menu include Lemon and Pepper Chicken – crispy coated chicken fillets topped with melting lemon and pepper butter served with chips and peas; Three-Cheese and Caramelised Onion Tart served with a dressed salad or chips and peas or the Super Food Salad – spinach, broccoli, butternut squash and pomegranate served with a lime and chilli dressing with a choice of either feta cheese or sliced chicken breast.
All of these new items feature under our pub favourites section where customers can enjoy two dishes starting from just £6.45 Other great money saving deals including a burger and a drink for £5.95, a bloomer, wrap, ciabatta or jacket and a drink for £4.85 and two for one on all delicious desserts.”
