The George pub in Brighouse has re-opened on Friday 28th April after an uplifting refurbishment throughout! The much loved local also hosted an entertainment-packed launch party across the weekend.
The neighbourhood staple has undergone a transformative make-over, after a significant 6 figure investment. There are updates across the bar area, as well as a brand-new outdoor seating area, with new furniture, vibrant lighting, a huge new TV screen and a new smoking and astro area. As well as this, there will be an elevated drinks offering, including premium brand lager Madri, as well as others!
The sports offering in the pub is also highly enhanced with brand new screens on site throughout the pub, which will be showing a huge range of all the unmissable sporting events across the year.

As well as updates and renovations, The George hosted a fun-filled launch party, which involved an array of different entertainment and activities. During the day, there was a town crier, and moving into the evening, there was a spectacular show from fire-breathers and stilt-walkers! On top of this, there was karaoke with the pubs in house DJ Thom, from 7pm onwards!
The pub is part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, who were named the Best Community Operator at the 2022 Publican Awards. With this great investment giving the pub a fresh lease of life, old and new customers can expect the highest quality hospitality when visiting the new-look pub!
