Popular local, The Green Dragon in Croydon is featured in CAMRA’S Good Beer Guide 2024 for the 13th year in a row.

The Green Dragon has been carefully selected to be in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide thanks to its vast array of cask ales that are frequently rotated. With eight cask handles, the Green Dragon are able to interchange ales frequently to feature many different types of ale from low to high abv and dark to lights meaning that there’s an ale for everybody.

Alongside the ales, a variety of other refreshing beers and ciders are available on draught including Peroni and Madri for all to enjoy.

To ensure all the beer is crisp and refreshing, the team at the Green Dragon work with local breweries to provide a variety of unique ales including a selection with tropical and fruity notes as well as everything in between. The pub also holds the highly acclaimed 5-star Cask Marque.

General Manager Susan Quinn, who has been running the Green Dragon for the last eight years, believes that it is not just the ales that have contributed to the pub’s success, but also the team’s dedication to looking after the cellar to ensure premium-tasting ale in every pint as well as assisting customers, with their vast range of knowledge, in choosing an ale.

“I am extremely proud of the Green Dragon being featured in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide,” said Susan. “The team and I are dedicated to ensuring we have a wide selection of ales and beers available. We want to be able to cater to all tastes which is why we rotate the ales so regularly and have a variety of flavours. We look forward to welcoming new customers and old customers alike to enjoy all the best of what the Green Dragon has to offer!”

Following the feature in the guide, the Green Dragon is adding some extra special ales onto their menu for guests to enjoy.
