Popular local pub, the Kings Arms in Taunton is set to reopen its doors on Monday 21 August following a short closure and renovation.
Award-winning pub company, Stonegate Group has carried out work on Taunton’s oldest pub to bring the venue back to life and enhance the customer experience.
The Kings Arm’s interior has been fully refreshed, with new furniture and decorations throughout. The bar has also received a revamp, creating the perfect home for its extensive drinks menu. Guests can enjoy a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails in the homely bar area or outside in the relaxing beer garden, a lovely spot to soak up the remaining summer sun which will open shortly after the rest of the pub.
As well as drinks, you can also enjoy some delicious pub food at the Kings Arms that the whole family will love, so bring your kids and dogs along and tuck in! Highlights include breakfast dishes, pub classics and mouth-watering Sunday Roasts with all the trimmings.
At the helm of the Kings Arms and ready to welcome the local community back to the pub for food and drinks is General Manager, Sean Phillips.
Sean commented: “I cannot wait to get the doors open again and welcome back everyone in Taunton back to our brilliant pub. We have a great offering and so much going on, it will be great to be back serving you all and creating memories in our community hub. We hope to see as many of you as possible for drinks, food and some fun.”
To bring some excitement back to the local communities’ evenings, the Kings Arms has a brilliant lineup of entertainment planned. Throughout the week there will be quiz nights, karaoke, live music and local sports teams nights.
For all the sports fans in the area, you can enjoy live games, which will now be screened regularly on the pub’s HD TV screens all with Sky Sports and TNT Sports, so you don’t have to miss any of the action. You can also participate in some friendly competition on the pool table and dart board. And if that’s not your thing, then why not explore the Skittle alley in the garden.
The non-stop entertainment does not end there as to celebrate the reopening, the Kings Arms will be welcoming local band ‘Hazy Days’ to perform some live music on Friday 25 August from 9pm.
Sean added: “Having the Hazy Days come to a play at the pub will be great, we are so excited to have a sing and dance with you all. I cannot wait to see what this new chapter for the pub holds and am thrilled to be doing it with you all.”
