Keeping the Phantom of Loughborough up to date, the Leicester Road bar has had a whirlwind makeover adding the comforts and features that guarantee a modern space for students, millenials, and socialites.
Back open Wednesday 8th November, new modern-day essentials mean keeping charged and online with high speed Wi-Fi. When relaxation is more the mood, board games, Sky and BT sports projected across 2 big screens and seven TVs, and two pool tables make the trendy setting a great chill down zone.
Six keen staff has extended the team, freshly trained to know their pale from amber of the six craft beers and ciders as well as to shake and stir retro inspired Tin Can Cocktails and Boozy Smoothies – the perfect detox and retox in one go! (Incredible without the booze too)!
There’s amazing grazing food, something different every day, and you’re rewarded for loyal custom! The MORE loyalty card earns you points saving you money when you eat and drink – now who can say that’s not a good idea?!
New manager Laura Green said: “We’re set up for students and societies to have their social with us, offer locals a relaxed space, whilst adding great audio equipment so we can ramp it up at weekends. We’ve also got the best beer garden in town.”
From breakfast to dinner it’s a bar geared up to keep customers fuelled up – vegetarians to vegans, health conscious to every variety of (so long as you like tasty) burger lover, and grazing to big plates, with conquerors of the Big rack Challenge – two full rack of ribs and accompaniments – entering the wall of fame.
Double Points Monday offers 20 points for every £1 on the MORE card and free to play bingo – with prizes you cant’ get anywhere else!
