Luton’s historic Red Lion Hotel reopened for business on Wednesday 5th April following an upgrade that combines affordable pub-grub with a new sporty look.
This popular local has swapped out its old style in favour of a refreshed look with new booths, restyled bars and a revamped garden area to boot – perfect for enjoying the warmer weather!
Local sports fans can get close to all the action as Sky Sports and BT Sport will be screened all day, in addition to pay-per-view boxing on HD screens. The Red Lion Hotel now has everything a sports fan could want, including tasty food served throughout the day.
Favourites like fish and chips, pies, pizza and burgers are on offer at The Red Lion, plus sticky, smothered wings, perfect for a game-day snack. Sunday Roasts will also be a best-in-class staple – the perfect way to finish the week. The pub also has a fantastic breakfast offer with fresh coffee which is unrivalled in the area.
General Manager, Krishan Choudhary said: “The new additions, look and feel will appeal to young people as well as families. It is unusual to have a venue that has a great late-night offer with a late license and a generous pub environment with food.”
Drinks are still firmly on the menu, with a two-for-one cocktail offer all day every day. A range of entertainment throughout the week keeps the atmosphere at The Red Lion lively, with Juke-Box-Bingo on a Wednesday, quiz night every Thursday and the ‘Afterwork Social’ from 4pm on Fridays. There’s no denying that the weekend gets off to a strong start, promising live DJ’s on Fridays and Saturdays and everyone’s favourite – Karaoke on Sunday!
