Local favourite pub, The Royal Oak in Harlesden is set to re-open its doors this Friday 15th March, after undergoing an extensive transformation following a six-figure investment from Craft Union Pub Company, the UKs fastest-growing operator-led pub company.

In the heart of Harlesden, the striking pub, known for its Victorian architecture and vibrant community atmosphere, has retained its historic charm, whilst now housing a brand-new uplifted interior. Locally known as a convenient hub for guests attending events at Wembley Stadium, The Royal Oak holds a special place in the community and with its new look and feel now provides a welcome space for locals and tourists alike.

The revitalised pub will also now feature two fully refurbished bars, with ‘The Loft’ bar located upstairs, which will be available for private events hire and is the perfect refreshed space to host any occasion. The bars will provide extensive drinks selections between them, including new installations of Cruzcampo, Birra Moretti and Madri.

At the helm of The Royal Oak is Kylie Downie, an Operator with a wealth of experience gained from managing Craft Union pubs across the North. Kylie’s background also includes managing bars abroad in Spain, where she integrated her passion for hospitality with her talents as a singer!

Kylie Downie, Operator at The Royal Oak, said, “I can’t wait to welcome the local community back to the Royal Oak. The new look and features have really elevated the space, and it’s definitely going to be the new hot spot in town. It’ll be great to see everyone getting involved in the exciting entertainment we’ve got coming up throughout the week, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds!”

The addition of a brand-new dartboard and pool table are set to further elevate the entertainment experience, with Sky Sports and TNT also available on the range of HD TV screens throughout the pub, where sports enthusiasts can view all the upcoming sporting action. As well as this, the pub will now be trading earlier, and introducing daytime and evening weekly events to create an even more vibrant community atmosphere.

The diverse array of weekly events will now include darts on Mondays, Quiz Union on Tuesdays, bingo on Wednesdays, ‘Killer Pool’ on Thursdays, live music on Fridays, DJ/Karaoke on Saturdays, and a talk sport quiz on Sundays. These events are a great opportunity for locals to connect, unwind, and get involved with the community.

The re-opening of The Royal Oak is set to provide an enhanced pub experience that combines a brand-new refresh throughout with a huge range of socialisation opportunities throughout the week!
