Local favourite venue, The Sailors Arms in Newquay, which underwent a huge transformation earlier this year, now a gorgeous, sought-after pub by day and 1,200 capacity night club by night, nestled on the North Coast of Cornwall, is thrilled to announce a fun-packed line-up of exciting events for the month of December across the festive season, raising money for various charities in the area.

Kicking off the festivities, on December 1st, is the much anticipated “Snow Ball”, a formal, black-tie charity night within the nightclub. This exciting community event will fundraise for ‘The Wave Project’, a fantastic local organisation dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of young people through the therapeutic benefits of surfing.

The much-loved, Cornish, disco, funk and jazz outfit ‘Deluxx’ will be providing the entertainment throughout the night, a dynamic house and jazz act that will keep the energy high from 8pm all the way through till 4am. Tickets for this unforgettable night are £10 in advance or £5 with a local’s card.

The community hub will also host a food bank donation night, on December 8th. The night will aim to fundraise as much as possible and give back to the community, by dedicating a night to collecting food bank donations for the Newquay Food Bank. Instead of the regular entry fee, club goers are encouraged to bring any of their donatable items to contribute to this wonderful charity this winter.

Attendees to the charity event be treated to a night of pulsating beats as ROSH take over the decks, spinning everything from dance floor anthems to house and drum and bass, running from 10pm to 4am.

Moving through to the middle of the month, guests can prepare for an evening of laughter, dancing, and unexpected surprises as much-loved ‘Bingo Loco’ returns to the club on December 15th. From 6pm till 11pm, join in the madness to be in with the chance of winning one of the many crazy prizes! After 11pm, the club will then open to the public with our house DJ taking care of the music for the rest of the night.

December 21st from 4pm, will host the club/pub’s famous “Family Winter Wonderland: A miracle on Fore Street” which will include entertainment for the whole family and a huge range of festivities including special guests, a party for the kids in the club, with disco and party games, Santa’s grotto, incredible festive food, mulled wine for the grown-ups and of course, many sweet treats for all. This is followed by the Christmas edition of their Thursday night favourite ‘What The Duck’ with extra Christmas and ducky prizes to be won.

As well as this, guests can expect live music in the pub, as well as the local choir and rowing club singers and an acoustic set from a local artist.

As the year comes to a close, Sailors Arms Newquay will be hosting the ‘ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration’ on December 31st. The club will be open from 10pm to 4am, offering a night of confetti, countdowns, and unforgettable moments. Tickets are £10 in advance, £12 at the door, or £5 with a local’s card.
