Clapham’s most famous cabaret bar, The Two Brewers, has taken its Sunday night drag show online during the coronavirus outbreak. The popular show will be running every Sunday over the coming weeks and has added an extra act to its usual ‘Power of Three’ show, with the online version being aptly dubbed the ‘Power of Four’.

Kicking off from 5.30pm with Myra Dubios, those wishing to tune in can do so on the bar’s Facebook page, with following performances from Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra taking the show through to 11.30pm.

The Queens have organised the night with the support of Two Brewer’s management team, Jimmy Smith and Jamie Heath, who are committed to continuing to support the LGBTQ+ community for the duration of the lockdown.

Jimmy said: “It’s so important to me to continue to support our girls throughout this crisis and that our customers still have access to the fabulous entertainment the Two Brewers is so famous for. It’s a real privilege to be able to use our platform to do both of these things and seeing more than 5,000 people tune into last week’s Power of Four, was just incredible.

“We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline for the coming weeks too. Corona might have closed our doors, but it will never dampen our spirit, nor stop us from bringing a little bit of laughter and naughtiness to our amazing community.”

Miss Jason said: “Even though this is a very uncertain and scary time, I believe this will be a time that we have a chance to reflect, and when we remember it, it will be as a time we learned to value our friends and family. I for one will never take any relationship for granted again!

“I can’t wait to get back to work and entertain audiences face-to-face again, but until then being able to reach our community online means so much to me. Love and laughter will see us through!”
