Decking, extended seating, and vibrant colours, create the idyllic place to relax in the warmer months with a venture that has also created two new jobs.
The reopening Wednesday 15th March saw one of Sheffield’s award-winning brewery’s take over the taps. The magic didn’t stop there with a conjuror on hand whilst the occasion marks its community links raising cash for Rotherham Hospice with raffle prizes including Rotherham United VIP tickets.
Ten new HD screens, 6ft projector, Sky and BT sports, facility to air three sports simultaneously, and table service during big games, puts the pub top of the leader board for uninterrupted sports viewing- time to test out the best in sports and service!
The expansion of cask ales grows to four pumps rotating local and national brews including Thornbridge, Bradfield and Stancill and joining the craft beer revolution, Hophouse 13 and Thornbridge Jaipur X on tap. CAMRA members also get 10% discount. With a cask ale festival running for the next five weeks, with pint giveaways, there’s plenty of opportunity to sample what’s on offer.
Capturing all tastes, cocktails like Sex on the Beach and Long Island Iced Tea are 241 all day everyday and ‘Seven Deadly’ botanical infused gins will line the back bar, gin lovers rejoice.
“We are keen on the values of a great British pub being the place to congregate every night of the week,” said manager James Mault.
“We’re giving what locals want, entertainment, community spirit and we are the best for sports and entertainment in the area.”
The pub is never short on atmosphere with a weekly like up of Monday night games night, Tuesday and Wednesday live sport, Thursday quiz night, Friday and Saturday night party with DJ and the ultimate Sunday social with afternoon bingo.
