The Tudor Rose in Hemel Hempstead will be welcoming all from the local community this weekend (1st, 2nd and 3rd of September) as it hosts its fun-filled grand launch party weekend.

Following its reopening after a six-figure investment by the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, the new look Tudor Rose is set to bring entertainment for the whole family this weekend.

To begin the celebrations on Friday 1st September from 7pm, fire breathers and stilt walkers will be making an appearance, and DJ Ricky will be providing the soundtrack for the evening. Guest can also look forward to a live meet and greet with former world champion boxer, John Conteh and world-class boxing referee Rob Williams. So, if you are a fan of John or boxing, this is a not-to-be-missed experience. Not to mention, the pub will be holding a boxing memorabilia auction, so you might be able to bag yourself something great!

The jam-packed weekend does not stop there, as on Saturday 2ndSeptember, guests can come along from 8pm for some live music from the brilliant local band, City Sound playing all their best hits. Whilst you are enjoying some great music, you can also treat yourself to a slice or two of free pizza. After City Sound’s set, the party will continue with a live DJ spinning the decks late into the night.

To round up the entertaining weekend, all the families in Hemel Hempstead can pop down to the local pub for a family fun day on Sunday 3rdSeptember from 12pm. There will be face painting, a magician, and a caricaturist for the little ones to enjoy, and throughout the day a live DJ will be providing the tunes, and karaoke will take place, so you better get those signing voices warmed up.
