Three new jobs are to be created at the Fox Inn in Coton when it opens this week following a £200,000 refurbishment.
The pub, which is owned and operated by award-winning Stonegate Pub Company, and is situated on the Hopwas roundabout, re-opens this Friday 15th November. The Fox Inn will be contemporary and stylish yet have all the traditional pub values that customers look for – great food, an excellent choice of wines and cask beers and a welcoming ambiance.
General Manager Robbie Pimbley and his team will be inviting local businesses and regular customers to join them for a VIP reception and to have a sneaky peak at the new look Fox Inn from 5.00pm on Friday 15th November. Guests will be welcomed with a celebratory glass of prosecco and tasters from the pub’s sharing boards. Doors swing open from 7.00pm for the general public.
The pub will enjoy a top to toe redecoration that will see it increase its covers to 102 inside and 238 outside in the pub’s large garden.
The Fox will re-open with the aptly named ‘Red Fox’ cask ale from Fullers, having a choice of three cask ales on handpull pumps at the bar. It will also introduce a collectors card whereby for every 6th pint purchased the 7th is free. Another new addition will be a range of 9 different whiskies and an enhanced cocktail menu. The pub’s hugely popular quiz nights return with a vengeance every Wednesday and Sunday too.
Commenting on the refurbishment, Robbie Pimbley said, “We are really excited about the refurbishment. The pub always had masses of potential but now with a fresh new look it can enjoy a new chapter in its life. Whilst we’ve been closed for the makeover, the team and I have been busy refreshing our customer service training and practising our bar skills so that when we re-open we can showcase some of our cocktail making skills. As we missed fireworks night we’ve decided to put a special ‘we are open’ firework display on for our customers on Sunday 17th November too.”
