The team at Yates’s on Birmingham Road in Sutton Coldfield celebrated their opening weekend in real style. The bar was transformed from a Litten Tree to a Yates’s after a 10 day closure and investment of £200,000 by the Stonegate Pub Company, the group that own and operate the site. EastEnders actor, Scott Maslen came to the bar on Saturday night and is pictured with Yates’s general manager, Gareth Morley.

Speaking of the opening weekend, Gareth said: “The reaction of our customers was just fantastic and we got so much positive feedback over the weekend. The team and I have been really excited about the opening of Yates’s and are committed to offering a friendly, safe bar with unrivalled entertainment coupled with value for money offers.

“Yates’s truly offers something for everyone. We are open for breakfast at 10am Monday to Saturday and 11am on Sunday. During the day time, we’re the perfect place for a bite to eat after a bit of shopping or to catch up with colleagues at lunch time. At night time, Yates’s subtly converts with the help of the lighting and sound systems, to a great high street party pub and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we are open until 1.30am providing the perfect place to party. It’s all about creating a happy balance for all our customers and a bar that the people of Sutton Coldfield can be proud of.”
